YUMA, Ariz. - United States Representative Greg Stanton and State House Minority Leader Charlene Fernandez will be visiting the San Luis Port of Entry commercial facility on Thursday.
During their visit, both political figures will be meeting with U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials to take a tour of the newly opened holding facility to discuss immigration, cross-border commerce, and infrastructure.
Stanton and Fernandez will also host a roundtable at the Greater Yuma Economic Development Corp with leaders in agriculture, trade, and economic development.
Their visit comes right after the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Kevin McAleenan who also toured the soft-sided facility at border patrol headquarters.
