It’s time for Congress to restore transparency in Washington and return political power to the people.
I’ve introduced a bill to ban Members of Congress from trading and holding individual stocks, so we can rebuild Americans’ trust that our government is working for the people, not politicians’ financial gain.
And when we were heading towards an unnecessary and potentially devastating government shutdown that would have put hundreds of Arizonans’ paychecks on hold, I called on House leadership to advance federal government funding legislation and supported bipartisan legislation to avoid catastrophic default and raise the debt ceiling.
