About our internship program

Internships are in-person and run throughout the fall, spring, and summer semesters for undergraduate students. Hours are flexible to accommodate students' course schedules. Interns are paid a stipend, dependent on part-time or full-time work.

Interns play a crucial part in our DC and district offices. Responsibilities will vary dependent on each office's needs. In DC, interns will have the opportunity to engage with the legislative, communications, and scheduling processes of a congressional office by conducting research, preparing written material, and assisting in operational tasks. In the district, interns will have the opportunity to work with our casework and outreach teams, assisting constituents with federal agencies and engaging with the community.

How to apply

Please email a resume, cover letter, and one or two-page writing sample to dc_internships.az04@mail.house.gov for DC internships or internships.az04@mail.house.gov for district internships. AI written materials are not accepted.
