“Today we come together to watch another peaceful transfer of power—the cornerstone of our democracy,” Stanton said. “As President Trump retakes office, here’s my promise: I'll work to find common ground when it’s in Arizona’s best interest. However, I will never compromise on our values and I will fight against any effort to strip away Arizonans' fundamental freedoms.”
