WASHINGTON-U.S. Representatives Greg Stanton (D-Ariz.) and Mark DeSaulnier (D-Calif.) introduced the HOV Lane Exemption Reauthorization Act that would incentivize alternative fuel and electric vehicle (EV) use, alleviate roadway congestion, and protect the environment by reauthorizing the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) Lane Exemption program under the Department of Transportation through 2031. This program allows states the option to grant electric vehicles and alternative fuel vehicles use of HOV lanes. Without an extension, the program is set to expire on September 30, 2025.

Meeks (D-N.Y.) of the House Foreign Affairs Committee sent a letter to Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressing "grave concern" over reports that the Trump Administration blocked Taiwan President Lai Ching-te from transiting through New York en route to Central America.

WASHINGTON-U.S. Representatives Greg Stanton (D-Ariz.), Marc Veasey (D-Tex.), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Penn.), and Jefferson Van Drew (R-N.J.) introduced a bipartisan bill to reauthorize the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program (EECBG), which provides state, local, and tribal governments grants to reduce fossil fuel emissions and conserve energy. The bill reauthorizes and fully funds the program for the next five years.
