WASHINGTON, D.C.—Democratic Congressman Greg Stanton and Republican Congressman David Schweikert hosted Arizona delegation members of both parties for breakfast this week in Stanton’s Capitol office—the first such meeting in more than four years.
“You hear a lot about the partisan fighting in Washington, and it can often seem like nothing is getting done. But I believe we can still come together as Team Arizona to make bipartisan progress on the issues that matter to our state,” said Stanton.
The members discussed action on issues including Arizona’s water security, economic development, continued investments in semiconductor manufacturing and infrastructure to support the state’s growing population.
