TUCSON - Sen. Martha McSally and Rep. Greg Stanton introduced companion bills to create a pilot program that would allow visitors from Mexico to travel throughout Arizona, potentially generating up to nearly $1 billion in additional tourist spending over the next five years.

WASHINGTON-Sen. Martha McSally and Rep. Greg Stanton this week introduced companion bills in both the Senate and the House to expand tourism and recreation in Arizona. The Southwest Tourism Expansion Act would create a pilot program to allow certain visitors from Mexico who already have permission to enter the United States to travel throughout the state of Arizona.

The long-awaited deal was welcomed across the political spectrum, but the announcement came just minutes after House Democrats also unveiled two articles of impeachment against Trump.

WASHINGTON, D.C.-U.S. House leadership announced this morning that an agreement has been reached to advance the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). During his freshman term, Rep. Greg Stanton has been pushing for an improved North American trade policy that would benefit Arizona's economy, and he previously urged a vote by the end of the year.

The eight-hour hearing included testimony from four constitutional scholars on whether they believe Trump's actions warranted an impeachment under the Constitution.

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Last week, President Trump signed into law a bill introduced by freshman Rep. Greg Stanton to permanently extend security protections for Supreme Court Justices outside the court grounds. This is Stanton's first sponsored bill signed into law.

Stanton first introduced H.R. 4258 in September with Rep. Greg Steube, R-Fla. It passed the House and Senate in November with unanimous support. In the current Congress, 77 bills have been signed into law to date. Of those bills, only eight were introduced by freshman House Democrats.
