WASHINGTON, D.C.-All 12 of Rep. Greg Stanton's Community Project Funding requests, totaling $11.9 million, were included in the minibus appropriations package for Fiscal Year 2024 that passed the House of Representatives.
"Each of these projects came directly from the community, and will improve the quality of life for Arizonans by investing in water infrastructure, building affordable housing, supporting public safety and strengthening our local economy," Stanton said.

Greg Stanton joined 27 colleagues in a letter to President Joe Biden supporting his Administration's efforts, along with Egypt and Qatar, to reach an agreement between Israel and Hamas to bring hostages home and provide a pause in the fighting in Gaza. Israel has agreed to the framework of such a pause but Hamas has so far rejected it.

WASHINGTON, D.C.-Following the introduction of H.R. 7369, the Customs and Border Protection Hiring and Retention Act (CBP HiRe Act) by Representatives Greg Stanton (D-AZ-04) and Juan Ciscomani (R-AZ-06), over a dozen local officials and stakeholder organizations have come out in support of the effort. The bipartisan legislation provides CBP with more flexibility for hiring, recruiting, and retaining agents, officers, and employees, specifically in rural and remote areas. The funding, made possible under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, will be used to replace the Central Utility Plant and associated equipment that provides cooling to the main terminal building, eight concourses, and connector bridges-Sky Harbor's highest reinvestment priority at Terminal 4.
