Rep. Greg Stanton joined 27 colleagues in a letter to President Joe Biden supporting his Administration's efforts, along with Egypt and Qatar, to reach an agreement between Israel and Hamas to bring hostages home and provide a pause in the fighting in Gaza. Israel has agreed to the framework of such a pause but Hamas has so far rejected it.

WASHINGTON, D.C.-Following the introduction of H.R. 7369, the Customs and Border Protection Hiring and Retention Act (CBP HiRe Act) by Representatives Greg Stanton (D-AZ-04) and Juan Ciscomani (R-AZ-06), over a dozen local officials and stakeholder organizations have come out in support of the effort. The bipartisan legislation provides CBP with more flexibility for hiring, recruiting, and retaining agents, officers, and employees, specifically in rural and remote areas. WASHINGTON, D.C.- Rep. Greg Stanton announced today that Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport would receive a $36 million federal Airport Terminal Program grant. The funding, made possible under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, will be used to replace the Central Utility Plant and associated equipment that provides cooling to the main terminal building, eight concourses, and connector bridges-Sky Harbor's highest reinvestment priority at Terminal 4.

PHOENIX—Through his "Valentine's for Vets" initiative, now in its 5th year, Rep. Greg Stanton delivered more than 1,000 cards hand-made by Mesa Public Schools students to veterans at the Arizona State Veteran Home on Monday.

"These are love letters to our veterans," Stanton said after the visit. "It teaches these young people to have appreciation for our veterans."
