Stanton Statement on Senate's Bipartisan Border and National Security Bill

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Rep. Greg Stanton issued the following statement on the Senate's bipartisan national security supplemental package:

"This deal represents bipartisan compromise–something Congress ought to do more of. The proposed solutions will work to reestablish order at our Southern border and get much-needed support to Arizona communities.

And it's a path to unlock the President's emergency funding request for desperately-needed support to our allies Ukraine, Taiwan, and Israel, and humanitarian aid to Gaza.

In the weeks and months ahead, I'm ready to work across the aisle to find a way forward on broader immigration reform that meets our pressing workforce needs–including finally extending permanent protection to Dreamers."
