It’s time for Congress to restore transparency in Washington and return political power to the people.
I’ve introduced a bill to ban Members of Congress from trading and holding individual stocks, so we can rebuild Americans’ trust that our government is working for the people, not politicians’ financial gain.
And when we were heading towards an unnecessary and potentially devastating government shutdown that would have put hundreds of Arizonans’ paychecks on hold, I called on House leadership to advance federal government funding legislation and supported bipartisan legislation to avoid catastrophic default and raise the debt ceiling.

It kills tens of thousands of clean energy jobs in Arizona. And it jacks up the cost of living for the families I represent while handing massive tax breaks to billionaires.

WASHINGTON D.C.-In a speech before the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Representative Greg Stanton (D-Ariz.) today mourned 14-year-old Emily Pike, a member of the San Carlos Apache Tribe who was brutally murdered earlier this year, and to express solidarity with the families and loved ones of Missing and Murdered Indigenous women across the country.
Stanton also joined with a bipartisan coalition to introduce a resolution designating May 5 as the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls. Stanton introduced the resolution led by Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-Wash.).

"Hegseth and Waltz shared classified and detailed attack plans in an unsecured chat-information that could have cost American servicemembers their lives-and then lied about it to the public. This was gross incompetence at the highest level, and there must be accountability.
They must resign or be fired."

Taxpayer Data Protection Act ensures only public servants can access sensitive personal information
