Funding under Inflation Reduction Act will help water managers utilize tens of thousands of acre-feet of water
TEMPE-Rep. Greg Stanton today announced $154 million in funding under the Inflation Reduction Act to construct an interconnection facility allowing for water deliveries from the Salt River Federal Reclamation project (SRP) to upstream users along the Central Arizona Project (CAP) and the Colorado River.

Greg Stanton and state leaders announced that Arizona has been selected as the site for the co-located National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) Prototyping and National Advanced Packaging Manufacturing Program (NAPMP) Advanced Packaging Piloting Facility, which was established through the Stanton-backed CHIPS and Science Act. This project-to be housed at Arizona State University's (ASU) Research Park in Tempe-will serve as a global center for excellence for next-generation microchip research and development, solidifying Arizona's position as a global leader in advanced chip manufacturing and innovation.
