Congress last month approved a two-year extension of the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act, or RECA. It's meant to help people who were exposed to radiation from nuclear testing in Nevada in the 1950s and '60s and then developed cancer. But it does not include those living in two specific areas: Clark County, Nevada, and lower Mohave County in Arizona.

Congress is currently mulling a bill to help state, local and tribal governments use drones to visually inspect critical infrastructure.

A bill has been introduced in U.S. House of Representatives that would provide a grant program for governmental entities to use drones for the inspection of infrastructure such as bridges.
Introduced by Rep. Greg Stanton (D-AZ), the bill would give the U.S. Department of Transporation authority to establish the grant program. Grants could be used to purchase or lease drones, contract for inspection services, and support drone management.
