"The independence of the Fed underpins the strength of the American economy.
For too long, business leaders have stayed silent in the face of Trump's authoritarianism out of fear of retribution. Today, a red line has been crossed: Trump is threatening the Fed Chair with criminal charges for refusing to bend to his will.
To business leaders and shareholders, now is the time to get very, very loud."
