Rep. Greg Stanton was presented with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Advocate for American Business’ award this morning, recognizing his support for pro-jobs, pro-economic growth legislation and his strong track record of working across the aisle to achieve lasting results.
The award is given by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the world’s largest business federation representing the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors and regions, as well as state and local chambers and industry associations.

“Arizona’s small businesses have faced immense challenges over the past few years. In Congress, I fought hard to ensure they have the resources and support needed so they can continue doing what they do best—create jobs. At the same time, I’ve worked to advance commonsense legislation like the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the CHIPS and Science Act to catalyze economic growth and keep Arizona globally competitive,” Stanton said. “I look forward to continuing our partnership to support the businesses that make our community such a great place to live.”
“The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present Congressman Greg Stanton with the Advocate for American Business award in recognition of his leadership and support of the business community,” U.S. Chamber Western Region Vice President Jennings Imel said. “As a member of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Congressman Stanton played a pivotal role in advancing the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Congressman Stanton voted against misguided antitrust policies that would have harmed Arizona businesses and consumers. He also supported the CHIPS and Science Act, which will strengthen Arizona’s position as a leading state for semiconductor manufacturing.”
“The Chandler Chamber applauds the U.S. Chamber’s recognition of Congressman Stanton’s leadership with the Advocate for American Business award. The Congressman’s views on positive pro-growth policies and reaching across the aisle to get things done have been an asset in spurring economic opportunity not only for Chandler but all of Arizona,” Terri Kimble, President and CEO of the Chandler Chamber, said.
"Congressman Stanton has been a dependable partner and champion of the Chamber and business community. His work on our behalf in Washington has been critical to securing timely funding and support initiatives for our economic vitality. We are proud to see him recognized for his support of pro-growth policies as a U.S. Chamber Spirit of Enterprise Awardee." Colin Diaz, President and CEO of the Tempe Chamber, said.
“For years Congressman Stanton has been a true advocate for small businesses and for the state he knows and loves. We are grateful for all his hard work, understanding and commitment in serving our community,” Frankie Jo Rios, President and CEO of the Valley Hispanic Chamber, said.
"Congressman Stanton has been a long-lasting partner and friend with the Asian Chamber of Commerce and we are proud to see him be awarded the Advocate for American Business for all the work he has done with the business community. Congressman Stanton was pivotal in assuring our community had knowledge and resources to stay afloat during and post-pandemic. Without him, many small businesses within our community would have been forced to close down, so we are eternally grateful for his friendship and leadership. We look forward to continuing to work together with Congressman Stanton in elevating Arizona's business ecosystem,” Anthony Amphonephong, Chief Executive Director of the Arizona Asian Chamber, said.
